Open Letter to the International Art Community
With great concern, we have learnt about the current situation in Albania and the Open Letter to the International Art Community: Stop Artwashing Edi Rama’s Politics (Hyperallergic).
In the face of these events, the Asociación de Arte Útil condemns firmly the demolition of the historic National Theater in the capital city of Tirana last weekend. We stand against any violation of human rights, repression or affront against freedom of expression and speech. In consequence, we have decided to retire case study n.494: Project for the Tirana Facades, from the AU archive.
